Hope this photo brightens up the home page during this cold weather? The location is on the top of Meal Bhuachaille in the Cairngorms, which are in the background Loch Morlich down below. Sent by our handsome, mature leader Alex with Bracken.
Welcome to the website of the Keighley branch of the Ramblers Association.
The group itself first started nearly 40 years ago. We are still going strong, and usually walk twice a month.
A shorter walk of 4-6 miles on the first Sunday in the month and a longer walk of 8-10 miles on the third Sunday is the norm. Starting time is 10.30am, unless otherwise stated.
We are a small sociable group of walkers who like nothing better than to walk and talk whilst we explore the moors and dales that surround us in Yorkshire and occasionally Lancashire.
We welcome everyone on our walks - both members and non-members - we do hope you will walk with us when possible.
If you wish to be more interactive with this website, you can became a Member, just click on the membership button.
To make it easier to contact us I have set-up an email account so that everyone can leave
comments about our walks or even the website itself or send us your pictures which
